Who is our Lord God? Simply, words are not enough to describe Him. Prophet Isaiah in chapter 40 tells us who He is. Our God measures oceans with His hand. He measures the sky with His hands. None can advise Him. Nations are like a drop of water before Him. Islands are like dust. He leads the stars like one who leads an army. He calls each by name. Do you know how the heart of this powerful God of ours is? Verse 11 says He takes care of us like a shepherd. He will carry us like a shepherd carries the lamb in His arms. He knows our troubles, He cares when we suffer injustice. He strengthens us when we are weak and tired. He knows we are like grass before Him, but He simply cares and could never ignore our little lives. Dear friend, if you feel that He might have forgotten you, take heart. Our God loves us, cares about every little detail of our lives. He is the only one who can be everything in our lives.
