Christmas season's greetings to all pearl divers! Let's dive deep to enjoy another pearl from the Bible in this Christmas month. The birth of Jesus is the most crucial thing that has ever happened in human history. God, as He promised, came into the world in flesh like one among us to save us from sins and to give us eternal life. Apostle John, in the Gospel of John, in Chapter 1:14 writes like this: 'The Word became a human being, full of grace and truth, lived among us. We saw his glory, the glory which He received as the Father's only son.' Jesus is the fulfillment of all hope, joy, and the freedom that was promised by God to His people. John starts to write about the life of Jesus by saying he saw the glory. Yes, this is not just a story like another saint's life. This is God coming to live among us. This is about God remembering us. This is all about God's incomprehensible love towards human beings. And the Bible says that God even gave his son for us; what else would he withhold? Verse 16 says, 'Out of the fullness of His grace, he has blessed us all, giving us one blessing after another.' Hey friend, God can never forget you; every single promise He gave will be fulfilled by God. He never changes. He is faithful to look after you. May the love of our Lord Jesus fill us; may the joy of this Good News stay with us throughout this month. Like how John saw God's glory, may God open our eyes to see this beauty in the birth of Jesus. May we see the glory of God like how John saw. Let Jesus be the strong reality in our lives. Dear God, thank you for giving your son Jesus. Open our eyes to see how you glorified him. May Jesus fill everywhere in our lives as we enter the month where we remember your greatest love towards us. Our dear Immanuel, be with us every second of the day. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
