Pearls from the Bible 10

"We are taught by our elders at church and by the Bible to live quiet lives wherever God places us. What if someone takes what belongs to us? Should we still need to keep quiet and wait? See the daughters of Zelophehad in Numbers 27. Women were not allowed any inheritance later on; it went to the males in the family. But they saw the situation and took their case to the Lord. The Lord was quiet until none took it to Him, but He did justice for them and gave the same as a legal right for the generations to come in Israel.

Are we quietly enduring when peace is being taken away from the family? Are we quietly letting the enemy to steal every blessing like God expects us to have? Think about the times when the enemy steals kindness, love, respect, and understanding that you deserve to have. Where is the love between the parents and the children or between the couples under covenant? Why are we crying? Why do we need to struggle? There is no need. Get up, dear sons and daughters of God. Go to God, our Judge. Fight for the rights that the enemy stole from you. The Lord is even willing to create a new command for your sake. Take heart. God is still the same and will judge on our behalf. The only thing is, are you planning to endure, or are you planning to go and get your inheritance?

Dear God, help us live in abundance of peace and love in our families. May we receive what is ours. Be our judge and command goodness over us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
